My question is how accessible the animals and birds are to photograph....meaning would I be shooting through fences or other obstructions, or are they fairly out in the open? The Alligator Farm is one of the best spots in Florida to photograph birds in a great habitat. If you are a serious photographer like I am you will want to buy the Photo Membership which allows you to arrive an hour before the public. It also permits you to stay for a couple of hours after the gates close. ($112.63). It is good for a year after your visit.
