I kinda preferred the Roman Museum in Lyon, which I visited way back in 2017. The issue I had with the Nîmes museum was that it was a little bit too interactive. Not enough emphasis on actual finds… JoannaFthegrumpy的完整评论

Hi Rebecca. I think if your son is interested in history he will enjoy the Musee de la Romanite. Audio guides are available in English, and there are interactive screens where you can also select English. I saw several families there with children. Some of the displays for vision impaired people are also good for kids, as they are objects made for touching. There is a collection of coins to view with magnifying glasses he might find fun. Some days the museum is free, from memory on a Sunday? Enjoy Nimes!
Will this museum be open on Tuesdays in the summer? Website says closed Tuesday but Tuesday tickets show as available. Confusing. Also are there English guided tours available? Again, website says they exist but lists only tours in French.

Not sure. I’d go by what the web site says. Email the museum to make sure. But do make sure to see it, it is a great museum.
