An appeals court in Romania has ruled that the case against influencer Andrew Tate, accused of human trafficking, rape and sexual exploitation of women, cannot go to trial because of multiple legal and procedural irregularities on the part of the prosecutors.

An indictment against Mr. Tate, the online influencer facing accusations of human trafficking and sexual misconduct, was sent back to prosecutors, an appeals court said.

A Romanian court on Thursday granted an appeal by controversial influencer Andrew Tate, refusing to put him on trial over human trafficking charges for now, and referring the case back to prosecutors.
