One of the most exciting things about Sonic 3 is that Keanu Reeves is playing Shadow the Hedgehog. Director Jeff Fowler revealed that Reeves is very committed to the role and even did his research. God help him if he stumbled across anything unsavoury.

Shadow the Hedgehog is the unique selling point of Sonic the Hedgehog 3. This follows after Paramount used the same tactic with Knuckles in the previous outing. Focusing the marketing campaign on a single character and the stellar talent they hired to portray them has proven to be a dynamite strategy.

If there’s anything I’m positively hyped for in the remaining months of the 2024 movie schedule, it’s the return of Sonic the Hedgehog and friends. As the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 release date has us all counting down to the December 20th release of Paramount’s latest sequel,
