近年来，在政府推动国内汽车生产的努力下，越南汽车市场取得了令人瞩目的成绩，新车年销量超过40万辆。这证明了国内汽车工业的发展，为经济做出了贡献，并为数千名工人创造了就业机会。 10月16日，2024年第22届越南国际塑料、橡胶展机械展（VietnamPlas 2024）在胡志明市第七郡西贡会展中心举行，吸引来自20个国家和地区的700各单位参展。

双方讨论了两国经贸合作情况。以越南与欧盟自由贸易协定（EVFTA）为基础，罗马尼亚是其中的成员，双方一致评价两国近年来的经贸合作发展相当积极，但潜力仍有待挖掘。双方同意在贸易、汽车制造业、石油天然气领域的教育培训、猪瘟疫苗制造、信息技术等两国优势领域开展合作。
