How outdated is the LG C1 at this point? : r/4kTV - Reddit
The LG C1 was my favorite OLED until MLA Technology and QD OLEDs made their way onto the scene. The only TV's I'd consider replacing my LG C1 77" with is either the G4 83" or an 83" QD OLED which doesn't exist yet. I want to experience MLA Technology and I never owned an 83" Gallery Series OLED so the G4 is enticing, but the price has to be right.

2024年3月30日 · I’ve had my 48” C1 for a year and a half and am very happy with it, but I find myself going through phases of whether I use the Cinema Screen setting or not and hit another snag tonight while watching the Arrow blu-ray for Cruising. I found I much preferred the look/feel of the film’s motion with Cinema Screem turned off.
LG C1 4K 120Hz only works on a particular HDMI port?
2022年2月1日 · Before turning on the PC, I changed the specific HDMI port type to “PC” in the C1 Home Dashboard. Then I connect HDMI to that port and turn on the PC. Ports 2-4 all showing the same with 4K 120Hz, except port 1 which caused the TV to go dark when connected.

2022年8月21日 · I’m with you here..LG C1 earc problems My problem is that earc support option wont stay ”on” in the tv settings. For example when playing nintendo switch and earc support is enabled, I get multichannel pcm as I should. Well, after I turn off tv and turn it back on (not changing a single setting..) I get only pcm 2.0 while playing with switch.

2022年9月21日 · LG C1 has 4 HDMI 2.1 ports. The 2nd one is the earc one. I've read online that all HDMI 2.1 support earc. So just wondering what the point of that label is? Would love to have some flexibility with where I plug in the soundbar.

Just wanted to share my situation after reading through various reddit posts on this issue. My LG OLED 55 inch C1 failed to turn on and no red standby light. I was out of warranty and in Canada, an LG repair would have cost $1000. So I said screw it, did my research and took a wild guess it might be related to a bad power board.

2021年8月22日 · Good point. I'm thinking strictly from the panel perspective. That is rated to last 100k hours. We do no know LG's testing process, what test image is displayed and how hard they are pushing the panel to decay faster, but this is extrapolated out to normal viewing brightness hence 100k hours.
