2008年12月11日 · there is a guy just down the road from me that has an add on style wood furnace in a shed/ wood storage building that is about 5 foot away from his single wide, the air duct that runs to the shed is underground. he says the duct is also insulated. I've been over there when it was -10F and he had it at 70F and apeared to work realy well.

You need cold air returns located as far away from the heater as possible to "draw" the heat thru the house. Yes it is a 55 gal. 16 gauge drum, since the firebox is round it heats evenly and won't burn out.

2009年11月28日 · Yes, the male end is into the stove. No, we do not burn green wood. We harvest the wood ourselves and do not take down live trees. All is at least dried a year but nothing too old and punky either. The creosote is coming from between the ceiling rectangular piece and the pipe, then oozing down the outside of the pipe to the stove.

2012年10月4日 · When the highs are in the 50s, that also means the lows are in the 30s. I will usually burn on day two of those temps. The first day, the stone in the house will retain the temps. After that, the stone has absorbed the outside temps and the house becomes cold. So, it looks like Monday will be my first day to burn.
