It looks great, but gameplay-wise it felt like such a huge step backwards from the classic games. The fact that vehicles are a class and space battles are an entirely separate mode were just bad decisions. Outside of the Star Wars skin it kinda lacks a unique identity to me and many of the game modes are very lackluster.

Hot Take: I prefer Battlefront (2015) over Battlefront II (2017)
Those 4 WA maps were very good, yes. But as far as the actual core "Battlefront" experience 2015 is by far the worst. 2017 is net improvement, but still falls behind what the original games were about. (large scale combat with a focus on basic infantry with classes, vehicles and Conquest-style objective gameplay, and obviously a Star Wars theme)
