2020年10月12日 · I’d feel comfortable running any of the major plow manufacturers 7.5’ plows on a half ton. I don’t know how nice of a truck you need, but if I was building a half ton plow truck, I would absolutely use a mid 80’s to 90’s F150 with the 4.9 300ci I6.

2013年2月10日 · The narrower the plow, the easier it is to cut through the snow. The wider the truck, the wider the plow has to be to reach past it. The guys further down the road who tried to take over winter maintenance tried with a 3/4 ton and couldn't get through the snow because it was too wide. Snow that I could get through with an '88 Nissan.

Granted all the V plows don't work as well as a straight blade when using like a straight blade, but the snoway has that fixed middle piece, so the snow really must slow down when rolling. 2004年2月17日 · I have a 8 foot fisher and have to back plow two loading docks.With light amounts of snow it does a good job but once it gets heavy, its a pita .You will have to go over it several times to get it decent.From what i hear the new fisher xblade has a much better attack angle and it backblades real good.If you dont want in invest in a rear plow go with a heavier blade or the xblade. jmo
