There have been considerable changes to Monterey since it was released as 12.0 and for Epson to not keep their driver and software current is a giant leap of compatibility faith.

2023年11月5日 · Keep your current operating system up to date (currently 13.6.1) and visit the Epson site to check for current drivers for this scanner. Epson released scanner drivers and Scan 2 Utility 6.6.45 on Oct 1, 2023 for the V39 for macOS Ventura. I suggest you download/install that and reboot your Mac. Try the V39 again with the Epson utility.

2023年1月8日 · Here's the difference: I opened Epson Scan 2 Utility and reset the settings, as you had mentioned above. It was the missing component, and now it's saving the files! Guess it just needed to be "burped" lol. Thanks again!

2022年2月5日 · I was skeptical as Epson drivers are shown compatible only with Intel processors, and largely outdated, but actually the "Epson Scan 2" utility works. It is a little buggy and hasn't all the features of native OS scanning, but it can be OK. Thanks for the suggestion.

2023年3月18日 · The Epson Scan 2 software (current version) has a way to reach the timeout setting, but the max is 300 seconds. Not long enough IMHO. The Scanner Utility software doesn’t seem to do anything at all anymore in Ventura.
