Thoughts on Femoral Head Ostectomy for a 65 lb puppy : r/dogs
2022年10月31日 · XRays were taken (attached) and was told by this vet I should put her to sleep because a total hip replacement would be cost prohibitive. Hip Dysplasia was severe for her age. I went to another vet that consulted with an orthopedic surgeon who recommended Femoral Head Ostectomy. I have read that this is not successful for larger dogs.
