FYI if you like either of the getter OVA’s I totally recommend the original Manga(Getter Robo; G; Go; Shin; Arc). There’s a 15(between G and Go) and 10 year gap between Shin and Arc so the way the series develop is really interesting.

Hopefully they'll do a special or something to cover some ground before the new show since it's manga only and the old anime had some story altering filler.
