2020年7月15日 · This eliminates any slop when the ram descends. I plan to install nylon bolts in the holes that can be seen in the brackets to take care of any sideways movement. Some casters on the base raised the press to a more comfortable working height, as well as making it easy to move around. I am waiting for a winch to arrive to raise and lower the table.

2013年3月3日 · I just purchased the 12 Ton at Harbor Freight and bought the castors at the same time. Before putting the press together I drilled the holes for the castors to make it a bit easer to drill on my drill press. The castors I used are four swivel with the locks so I can move it in any direction as needed but still lock all the wheels if needed.

However, it seems many hydraulic components are only rated around 3,500-4,500 psi, the 5,000-10,000 psi rated stuff is harder to find and gets quite expensive.

I’ve thought of drilling the end of my arbor press to make a receiver but opted to just using square tubing to make attachments.
