2018年8月1日 · Transparent glass ceramics (TGCs) with minimized scattering loss offer the combined characteristics of both glasses and (transparent) ceramics. The functionalities of the dispered crystals make TGCs a new generation of tailorable optical materials with a wide range of applications from optics to photonics.

2000年9月1日 · The passive scattering losses were measured in near single-mode optical waveguide fibers with well-centered transparent glass-ceramic cores. Using difference spectra, it is shown that the incremental intrinsic losses of these glass-ceramic structures will be in the range of 100 dB/km or less.
