And I used epoxy to fix up some old wood (wood was in overall good cond, and and oddball size), it had rotted a little in some of the ends/corners, but it had fully dried out.

It has far fewer voids than exterior ply, waterproof glue, and a beautiful one side finish. It is also called sign board and used by sign companies for exterior signs.

If you're working weekends, it might take 4 weekends working hard. Since it's so time consuming, there's no reason to skim on materials. My pontoon is a 1985 model, and it still has the original marine plywood on it.

2010年7月3日 · I checked MDO at Home Depot and it's 1/2 he cost of marine plywood, the 1/2 has 5 plys so seems to be pretty strong and by looking at the edges there doesn't seem to be any voids that I can see. It comes in 1/2"' 5/8", and 3/4" and also 1" but not sure.

2005年4月26日 · I have called around a number of local lumber yards, to order 5' x 9' X 1/2" plywood, either douglass fir ext grade or marine grade. They make it seem that 5x9 is not made anymore, or at least not available from their suppliers.<br /><br />Really prefer getting the 5x9, because it will require three 4x8 to do the floor and end up with another seam.
