2019年12月1日 · On fitting day, the correct (genuine BMW HUD/KAFAS) glass arrived with the fitter without issue. The glass company fitted genuine BMW glass which needs insurer approval - my insurer obviously already knew I had retrofitted HUD/KAFAS (amongst other things) so I would imagine accepted the claim for that specific screen.

All in all, about $10k worth of parts....and easily 15-20 hours of labor on top of that. Buying used can drop that price, but really not economically feasible.
