Jan 1, 2019 · 4k streams on HDMI take a LOT of bandwidth and sometimes it gets glitched. The graphics card in the Xbox one is working very hard to put out that much data on a screen. Otherwise, it can just be a random glitch in the xbox dashboard. I get it from time to time but when I turned off YCC 4:2:2 it hasn't happened in a while.

Oct 14, 2024 · I booted up my Xbox One today and as soon as the initial loading screen popped up I noticed it was very dark. I could barely read the word "XBox". Once I got to my home screen the problem did not go away. I couldnt see my background at all and the apps were all very dark and had a red hue to them. Loading into a game I have the same visual problem.
