2013年2月24日 · The Stihl website recommends a 16" bar for the MS290 and a 20" bar for the MS391, MS362, and MS440 models. Go a bit longer if you're cutting softwoods. As you know, a lot depends on the range of wood diameters you'll be cutting. I run a 20" on my 440; might think about a 25" later on, but I'm still getting used to the saw.

2011年1月18日 · I like either Stihl Ultra or Amsoil saber pro at 50:1 premium 10% ETOH. Both are full synthetic and I have not noticed a difference between the two in my saws. The ultra is easier to use as it comes premeasured in shots but it is expensive and not all stihl shops carry it. Saber I can get by the quart at my local NAPA and it is cheaper.

2023年9月29日 · Best is just an opinion, like Ford, Chevy, dodge etc... I have Husqvarna, stihl, dolmar, echo and old Poulan saws. I personally like Husqvarna better, then Dolmar, then Echo, then stihl. There are certain models in each brand that stand out above the others. The stands out in the stihl line would be 261 and 400 in my opinion..

2017年7月20日 · OP asked for Power to Weight ratio, not Weight to Power ratio. He also wanted only Stihl numbers for current models. The 660 and 661 are the two best. I guess the MS 880 is just plain too heavy for what power it delivers. Stihl should have trimmed a pound or so off the 880. Instead, they made it heavier than the 084.
