2007年5月4日 · Even an epoxy coating alone (with fiberglass) won't solve the checking problem. Since you can't fiberglass, this is probably a moot point, but it is something to know about. An epoxy coating might at least cut down on the checking but as I said before, it will also probably be a royal pain to install if the boat is basically done at this point.

2007年10月13日 · Re: Dressing fiberglass edges Rather than brushing the epoxy over the edge of the cut fiberglass, rolling it on, moving from the center of the cloth and toward the edge should yield a better result. I use a 1/4" thick foam roller for this. Just don't roll back over the edge in the other direction to avoid lifting the edge.
Cedar Strip boat hull - Fiberglass sheathing or not?
