Inocybe is certainly one of the largest genera of the Agaricomycetes.

Pileos de 15-48 mm de diámetro, de color claro. Estípites de 22-35 x 5-11 mm, blanquecinos o apenas algo sonrosados en el ápice. Olor subespermático, algo pelargoniado. Cortina muy inconspicua que apenas deja restos en el margen de los ejemplares muy jóvenes. Caulocistidios ausentes o restringidos al extremo ápice.
