2013年2月5日 · Case used to be way behind but are equal now and ahead on some models. JD usually has the edge on reliability and second place on threshing. What is resale doing now? Last auction I was at this fall case was as strong as deere. I was shopping sprayers and at dealers case are more money in a 2 year old machine. Deere makes some silly moves too.
Looking for pros and cons to a 2010 JD 9770 rotor combines.
2022年12月6日 · Ive heard when doing canola that a rotor wont ad much benefit other than cleaner sample. we have trouble spitting cereals out the back of our 9600 when yields push 90 bpa. I would like to stay with JD combines for many reasons and have looked into the T670 conventionals but they are out of my price range for the better years for those combines.

2024年9月25日 · That said, I have run JD combines for MANY years, from 95's up thru a 9500, in corn/beans/wheat. IMO, just leave the block up & the chain speed in slow, unless you are doing wheat. There is almost no change in efficiency in soybeans. Not worth changing. MAYBE the drum might block big rocks in the lower position....but I doubt it.

2024年6月18日 · The reason the 6xxD heads are "cheap" is they are specifically for standing grains and ONLY work on JD combines equipped to operate the complex hydraulics - ie 70 series and up (maybe late 60s). Reduces the resale market significantly.
