How outdated is the LG C1 at this point? : r/4kTV - Reddit
The LG C1 was my favorite OLED until MLA Technology and QD OLEDs made their way onto the scene. The only TV's I'd consider replacing my LG C1 77" with is either the G4 83" or an 83" QD OLED which doesn't exist yet. I want to experience MLA Technology and I never owned an 83" Gallery Series OLED so the G4 is enticing, but the price has to be right.

For example when playing nintendo switch and earc support is enabled, I get multichannel pcm as I should. Well, after I turn off tv and turn it back on (not changing a single setting..) I get only pcm 2.0 while playing with switch.

On my C1, I cannot discern any real colors issues with my eyes. Shadows on my C1 did appear to have issue the classic "crushed black" situation. This was resolved by making very slight adjustments with white balance. Setting the temp between 30 and 40 (my preference), using 2 Point Low for coarse adjustment, and 22 Point for fine.

2021年12月13日 · Game optimiser mode on the C1 has good motion interpolation settings for FPS games as well which really helps. Also my setup is a 65 C1 in the living room so the softness is not really noticeable sitting on a couch 2 meters away. If your setup is on a desk it will probably be more obvious.
