2022年3月26日 · Open LayOut. Look in the welcome screen to see if any recent files have Recovered written on them. Choose the 38th plans one if it is there. When asked if you want to open the recovered file or the original file, open the recovered one. If it opens, do a Save As, to a local folder, with a new name.

The underlying zip archive is damaged somehow. I was able to unzip most of the file, ignoring the error, and then re-zip to create a valid file again.

2024年8月16日 · The LayOut file opens, but your SketchUp model is 400 MB, so it requires a lot of calculations to be loaded. The fact that you keep the model 2 km away from the origin does not help either. And Purge your model before sending it to LayOut. After Purge, the file decreases to 82 MB, from 400 MB. 2 Likes.

2022年12月24日 · I do get warnings that saving an older version file in SU 2018 or Layout 2018 will prevent opening the file in older versions. In Layout 2018, the File/ save as 2017 or 2016 does not create a compatible Layout file that can be opened in Layout 2017. Anyone know of an extension or solution for this? Thanks.

2024年8月5日 · Your LayOut file seems to be badly corrupted. It contains a number of huge SketchUp files which doesn’t help.I opened one of them and gave it my standard cleanup fixing incorrect tag useage and purging unused stuff. This reduced file size by 40%. I expect your other files could benefit from the same cleaning.
