2018年11月20日 · The SE Tremonti Custom comes with SE SC245 pickups, and they are very HOT meaning high output. If you hit the strings hard, even the cleanest amp will break up (distort). I swapped to USA Tremonti signature pickups, and they're even hotter but, they sound fuller and thicker while providing ultimate clarity.

2012年4月28日 · Obviously the SE guitars are the mass produced instruments. Factories have changed a few times. I can only speculate that the jump in numbers may have something to do with the factory changes and (possibly) their numbering system. With PRS moving to a dedicated factory(ies) they may be able to "tighten" the S/N system - if they really care.
PRS Newbie needs advice - SE 24 vs. CE 24 vs. Custom 24
2018年1月12日 · 1. Buy a new SE 24 now. 2. Buy a new CE 24 now. 3. Save up and buy a used Custom 24 in 9-12 months. The S2 is not an option b/c I want a thin neck. I'm torn because I wonder if I'm buying too much guitar (for my skills and needs) with a Custom 24. Perhaps an SE 24 or CE 24 is good enough for me and still wonderful.

What this video was trying to say though was that you are not buying a 'Paul Reed Smith' built by Paul Reed Smith staff in the Paul Reed Smith factory but built by the same staff that make guitars for company's like Chapman, Schecter, Ibanez etc.

Many here would argue that is *is* an important aspect of cultivating the emotional connection to an instrument (myself included), but there are others who will put more emphasis on the feel between two instruments.
