Center stand or not to center stand? I cannot decide what to do
2023年1月24日 · The best recommendation I can make in regards to adding a center stand is upgrade the factory bolts to a quality aftermarket type with a flanged head. The tolerance of said factory bolts is rather commodious to say the least. I'm using the adjustable Happy Trail brand (very happy) but there are other good stands such as SW-motech ect.

2022年12月23日 · On my 2022 Adventure KLR I installed the center stand from Happy Trails. It too was an easy install and like the other posters have stated it is adjustable for stock, raised, or lowered suspension. The T-Rex is not.

2022年12月26日 · Great stand, but, at least as of a few years ago, it was only compatible with the SW Motech skid plate,, which doesn't extend all the way past the drain plug. Also, center stands reduce your ground clearance, so be careful if you are riding hard core trails.

2005年2月18日 · Most center stands for the KLR's bolt to the foot peg brackets. Take off foot pegs, position center stand against foot peg bracket, line up foot pegs to the hole of the center stand and bolt up. I just put the SW-Motech crash bars, centerstand and skid plate on my '09.

Once the trip is done, you're back home and want to ride forest roads and single tracks simply take it off to reduce weight and gain ground clearance.
