Sea of Thieves - The Bald Lady Mystery. What is her purpose?
Few years back, players wait at Crook's Hollow till nightfall and things get spooky with "eerie noises" and "sounds of footsteps in the sand" and reported appearances of a bald woman standing far away from our character, and is possibly the source of the island being haunted.

2022年12月30日 · I've all but hung up my peg leg and moved to dry land, but I remember before I left the mystery of a Bald Lady creeping around Crooks Hollow. A cursory google didn't show me anything definitive. Did anything larger ever come of this?
WHO is the Bald Lady? - Sea of Thieves
She's the last of the Ancients that used to live in the Shores of Gold and the SoT like the Merfolk and somehow was cursed to live forever. She is a goddess worshiped by the Ancients, since the island reveals paintings of them praising a red figure in front of them.

2019年10月2日 · In the video link above, at around the 2 second mark (when he drops the map), there is a female figure standing on the right middle section of the screen (best seen between the 3 and 4 second mark). OP runs right past her. I am so conflicted as my trust in people online and especially on Reddit had been extremely nonexistent.

The sounds can also be heard on the Fort of the Damned.

2020年3月20日 · I totally forgot about her any updates? Supposedly they added an Easter Egg in reference to it, where at midnight on Crook’s Hollow some spooky sounds play. As far as I can tell though, it was just a fun Halloween thing.
