2011年12月1日 · I tested Silent Cinema the other day via optical cable. Still yet to try HDMI but don't think I will; receiver was cheap and I like the idea of 360 > TV and 360 > receiver for more direct connections and less room for trouble. Anyway I think Silent Cinema sounds terrible, and I can still use dolby + 5.1 setup with headphones in "straight" mode.

2011年12月1日 · I have a yamaha a1000 receiver and have been trying to get the silent cinema to work. I bought a 1/4 to 1/8 adapter to use my beats solo2 headphones with. I tried it with the bluetooth and it sounded so bad that i tried plugging the aux cable directly into the adapter.

I had some fun buying some phono to rca cables but as expected didn´t do much good As for Silent Cinema I found it quite pointless just like all the other DSPs on my Yamaha RX-V663. That receiver totally sucked with everything honestly. I wonder if it wasn´t actually faulty in some way.

2016年6月28日 · As far as I can tell the only way to get Silent Cinema headphone surround sound, is from the Yamaha receiver's headphone jack. Nothing on the back panel of the Yamaha works with Silent Cinema headphone feature. Your Yamaha receiver should be using the same amplifier(s) to drive both the speakers and the headphone output jack.
