This means that if one wheel is in the air and it takes almost no torque, say 10 ft-lb., to turn the wheel, the other wheel will only receive 10 ft-lb. of torque.

2024年10月16日 · The Torsen requires some resistance on the free/faster spinning wheel in order to apply torque to the opposite wheel. And it never applies full torque to the opposite wheel. This seems like a significant drawback over an LSD, and certainly not worth paying extra. Makes me wonder about calling it Anti-Spin when it actually allows total free spin.

From researching the forums, aside from the typical, GM ground issues, fuses, bad wires, etc., the only other items that can cause an issue like this is bad buttons or a bad/incorrect clock spring.

2024年3月24日 · When you change the rear differential oil, jack the tires off the ground like you did previously. Pull the rear cover and drain the oil. Then have someone spin the tires to see what goes on. Hands on learning is the best. Just keep your hands/fingers out of those gears!

2019年3月27日 · Open differentials can spin both wheels provided they have similar traction. The wheel hop you feel might be brought on by the traction control. I have the LSD and sometimes get funny wheel hopping with the traction control on if I'm on ice/snow. The TC uses the ABS to slow a spinning wheel and force power to the opposite one.
