Transvaginal and transabdominal ultrasonography demonstrated a thickening of the anterior wall of the uterine corpus with numerous cystic lesions. Color Doppler ultrasound, dynamic MRI and magnetic resonance angiography as well as pelvic angiography were useful for detecting the hypervascular lesions in this case.
