How to add my Vanguard 401k account? - Quicken
These accounts do not exist at investor.vanguard.com. This does not seem to be an issue of Quicken simply not supporting Vanguard as a whole (as others with investor type accounts have states above they are able to sync) or an employer not giving access. It seems that this specific type of Vanguard plan is not currently supported by Quicken.
401K data from Vanguard and Empower Retirement not …
Have successfully linked my 401K accounts from both Vanguard and Empower Retirement with Quicken Premier. I can even see the correct balance in the popup window when Quicken asks me to confirm the account. But in the Quicken dashboard, it shows $0 balance and zero holdings.

Next, I suggest deactivating the Vanguard account(s). However, before doing so, I do recommend saving a backup of your data file first (just in case). Then, please check and make sure you do not have any hidden accounts that may be connected to this financial institution. Go to the Accounts menu and choose Hide and Show Accounts

New account, but choosing "Vanguard Rtrd. New account, but choosing "Vanguard Rtrd. Plans" only allows simple downloads, not detailed and seems to only allow Quicken Connect, not Direct Download.

However, I can create a new file, and connect to Vanguard and get Detailed Tracking on all my Vanguard accounts. So, the Vanguard website IS available, and Vanguard does, as it always has, provide Detailed Tracking. There seems to be something wrong on the Quicken end, either some setting or some issue with my data file.

I have a new Transamerica Annuity account (transferred from Vanguard) using financial Institution "Transamerica Retirement Solutions" and I am trying to setup online banking. When I go into Account Details -> Online Services tab -> Set up now... Quicken puts me into the Add Account flow and creates a new account.
