2012年8月1日 · extended cut is the director's cut. it shows a bit more scenes that relate to the characters background and motives and is more similar to the graphic novel. the ultimate cut is the same with the cartoons of the legend of the black freighter series that apear in the graphic novel its a long freaking movie 3.5 hours long.

2021年5月18日 · Watchmen 2009 was terrible.. I recently watched it for the first time and wow, it was so promising at the beginning. Near the half way point I was extremely torn, but it failed to live up to the Graphic Novel.

Each of the "heroes" shows a different aspect of traditional superheroes, laser focuses on the core of what's there below the surface, and shows exactly why that's bad. Take Rorschach, for example. He is Watchmen's version of the vengeful hero that does what the law cannot.

Watchmen may be a story about heroes—however in the loosest sense—but it is very much suited for an adult audience.

I recently rewatched 2009's Watchmen and really liked it. The dynamic camera angles and framing matches the comic so well and the acting is great. The soundtrack is very appropriate too. Best of all the story matches the comic 95%! Sure the ending is changed but the message is roughly the same.
