My psa rose from last yr 7.9 to 9.5 with the free at 11%. Anybody know wher I can get the transperineal biopsy. I live in So Fl. Thanks

2024年3月2日 · Just a couple minor points. I had a transperineal biopsy at Mayo last May '23, and it was under anesthesia. That is how they do it. When I had Tulsa Pro in November '23 (not at Mayo) they needed a clearance, basically it is a form you can give any one of your doctors who has seen you in past and they can fill it out. They also need an EKG.

2019年9月7日 · Had a transperineal UroNav fusion biopsy by Dr. Williams at UTMB, Galveston about 14 months ago. Procedure required a general anesthesia so I remember nothing after they administered the anesthesia until I woke up in recovery. Had no pain or adverse reaction whatsoever. Had a slight tinge of blood in the urine for a day.

My 2023 Mayo done transperineal biopsy had one needle at the anterior transition zone with all Gleason 4, it was not a big spot (0.2 mm caught in needle).
