How do you make whale watchers excited? By showing them whale poop of course! Lately, our Fin Whales have been feeding on an incredible amount of krill that makes their excrement bright red. This is all part of what’s called The Whale Pump, a process where a whale eats and takes nutrients from lower in the water column and distributes those nutrients to different depths, effectively fertilizing the ocean!
